The Hamilton County Health Department has detected additional locations with West Nile Virus in the the county. Due to current low overnight temperatures, adult truck spraying is less effective and will not be able to be performed. Additional site treatment and surveillance will be conducted in the positive sampled areas to prevent emerging adults mosquitoes. The Health Department continues to recommend the wearing of proper clothing and use of repellents during outdoor activities to avoid mosquito bites.
