The debate centers on transparency around Amazon's data center wastewater use at South Bend's treatment plant, which already handles tens of millions of gallons from the facility.
• Missing South Bend moms found dead in St. Joseph River in Niles (southbendtribune.com) — Two South Bend mothers missing since Sept. 13 were found dead in a Jeep pulled from the St. Joseph River in Niles, and investigators are still determining how the vehicle ended up in the water. South Bend police, neighbors near the scene, and the Common Council president have all responded, with city leaders offering condolences to the women's families and friends.
