Any Wabash County household with proof of address is eligible, and local groups will also share tips on heat safety, health, and energy assistance while supplies last.
• Betty Irene Cook (yournewslocal.com) — Longtime area resident Betty Irene Cook, who once made her home in Wabash before settling in North Manchester, has passed away at age 82. Remembered as a devoted homemaker, loving grandmother, animal lover, and woman of faith, she will be honored with calling hours Thursday and funeral services Friday at McKee Mortuary in North Manchester.
