• Driver dies after police shooting following high-speed chase in Winamac (wrtv.com) — A police pursuit ended in Winamac Wednesday afternoon when a driver allegedly exited a truck with a gun and exchanged fire with an officer near Monticello and 15th streets, later dying at a nearby hospital. The chase began in Monon, continued through Pulaski County, and is now under investigation by Indiana State Police, with the coroner to release the driver's identity later.
