• OrthoWorx Announces Fall 2026 Orthopedic Scholar Seminar Series (inkfreenews.com) — Winona Lake will host the Fall 2026 Orthopedic Scholar Institute Seminar Series at Grace College's Manahan Orthopedic Capital Center, running Fridays from Aug. 28 to Oct. 9. Interns, young professionals, and community members can explore topics like medical device sales, compliance, and FDA oversight. Sessions are free for OrthoWorx members and OMBA students, or $29 per seminar for others.
   

• Commissioners Approve Contracts For Syracuse Bridge Repairs, Justice Building Roof Design (timesuniononline.com) — Kosciusko County Commissioners approved emergency repairs for a Syracuse bridge and major design work for the Justice Building roof, along with several other infrastructure and safety upgrades. Winona Lake is included in new 2027 data access agreements that give local police agencies the same terminal services as the sheriff's deputies. Several rezoning requests across the county were also decided.
