City Of Lebanon officials announce the death of councilman Jeremy Lamar: Report

LEBANON, IN -- The City of Lebanon announced the death of City Councilman Jeremy Lamar Thursday, WXIN reports. The news outlet reports Lamar's death remains under investigation, according to officials. Lamar was on the Lebanon City Council for 15 years, serving as president of the group at one point, and was also involved in Lebanon's Active Living Initiative, WXIN says.
Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry and several other city officials were shocked by the news, WXIN says.
“I was shocked and saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Councilman Jeremy Lamar. I extend my deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers to the Lamar family and friends,” said Lebanon Mayor Matt Gentry, according to the news outlet.

Mayor Gentry has ordered all flags at City buildings be flown at half staff until Lamar is laid to rest.
