Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials report the first homicide of 2018, saying they were called to the 3600 block of N. Schofield Avenue around 9 a.m. on Jan. 3 where a person was found unresponsive in a car. IMPD says officers found a male, later identified as 27-year-old Rodriguez Anderson, in the front passenger seat of a car that was parked on the street, before IEMS arrived and pronounced him dead.
