INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Indiana State Police have identified the driver they say was killed when her car crashed head-on into a semitrailer as she drove the wrong way down I-465 in Indianapolis Thursday morning. ISP says the crash killed 24-year-old Milca B. Alvarado Polanco of Indianapolis, who was driving a white Nissan Sentra west-bound in the east-bound lanes of the interstate when she hit a FedEx semi pulling double trailers head-on. ISP says 51-year-old Tony Splittstoesser, of Champaign, Illinois, was driving the FedEx semi and received minor injuries. Another truck driver, who ISP says was in the sleeper berth during the crash, wasn't hurt

The crash happened just east of the US 31 exit around 5:30 a.m., and the road was closed until just before 10 a.m. Thursday morning, ISP says.
