The Boone County Sheriffs Department closed bridge to through traffic after it collapsed while tractor driver drove through it.

LEBANON, IN — The Boone County Sheriff's Office says the Holiday Road bridge will be closed until further notice, after it collapsed Saturday. According to The Associated Press, the bridge collapsed Saturday evening as a John Deere tractor was crossing over it in the northwest county. AP says the small bridge collapsed into a pile of twisted metal, after the 34-year-old tractor driver didn't realize an attachment was wider than the bridge.

The driver was able to escape the crash unharmed, however deputies have closed the bridge to through traffic.
