Police say two people found shot inside a vehicle at a northeast side gas station: Report

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Indianapolis police say two people have died after being shot inside a car at a northeast side gas station, Associated Press reports. The news outlet reports police responded to the scene around 12:30 a.m. Monday where they found a man and woman inside the car, suffering from gunshot wounds. According to AP, police say the man died at the scene and the woman died at a hospital.
Investigators say the gunshots came from outside the car, adding that a police supervisor on patrol heard the gunshots and called for help.
According to AP, officers responded less than one minute after the shooting, and investigators are reviewing surveillance video to learn more about what led to the fatal shooting.
