UPDATE: Ames City Council Will Revisit Logo in 2 Weeks
The City of Ames logo now in color.
The City of Ames may dump its blue and green logo for an updated wine-colored design.
However the Ames City Council voted Tuesday to table discussions on the look until residents could see it first.
Council members directed staff to post the new logo on the city's website. A colored draft of the logo can be seen here, as well as the logo currently in use. The logo will be shared among the City of Ames, the Ames Chamber of Commerce, the Ames Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Ames Economic Development Commission.
