Ames Community School's Fifth Grade Band Meeting is Thursday
Parents and students are invited 7 p.m. Thursday.
The Ames Community School District elementary band program invited all fifth grade students and their families to an informational meeting about the program 7 p.m. Aug. 25 in the Ames High School Cafeteria.
The district's elementary band program begins in fifth grade and any fifth grader may participate.
Elementary band directors will explain the program and field questions.
