Ames Figure Skating Club Presents 23rd Annual Spring Ice Show, "Skate the Big Apple"

The Ames Figure Skating Club proudly presents the 2016 Spring Ice Show, "Skate the Big Apple" on April 30 and May 1 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena located at 1507 Gateway Hills Park Drive, Ames.

This year, our skaters will be vacationing New York City! Join our skaters as they hit all the famous NYC landmarks. Expect your trip to include the Statue of Liberty, Central Park, and the World Trade Center Memorial. While you are in NYC, you will get to take in a baseball game, and be entertained by the internationally known Harlem Globetrotters. And, just think, you will have prime seats for the Michael Jackson concert at Madison Square Garden, and at New York City Fashion Week. There is so much to see and do, you will not want to miss the trip!

Our second half, you will find yourself on Broadway! Join Belle and our amazing cast of characters, as the Ames FSC presents "Beauty and the Beast". You will be transported through our amazing props back to Belle's rural village, and then find yourself a guest at the Beast's castle. So, join our skaters, as we hail a taxi, or hop on the subway, and hit to one of NYC's most famous streets, Broadway!

The public is invited to attend performances on Saturday, April 30 at 6:00 pm, and Sunday, May 1 at 2:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased in advance for $8.00 at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena, or at the door for $10. Senior Citizen tickets (60 and older) and students (with school id) are $5 at the door, children under the age of 5 are admitted free.
