Ames Main Street Farmers' Market Accepting Vendors

Ames Main Street Farmers' Market, one of three in Ames, is now accepting applications for its spring market, which begins May 5.

Anyone interested in selling their local wares on Ames Downtown Historic Main Street should apply soon.

The Ames Main Street Farmers Market is now accepting applications for an extended market season. The market opens May 5 and will run Saturdays through Oct. 27. Vendors set up on Main Street from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily.

Allowed items include Iowa grown farm products, fresh flowers, baked goods, artisan crafts and prepared foods. A vending application can be found here.
The Ames Main Street Market is one of three that operates in Ames. Ames Patch did an occasional series on a few of the vendors from all three farmers' market which you can read below. Priority applications are due Feb. 18.
