“The final round of curbside tree debris pick-up will begin as soon as the first round is complete,” said Public Works Operations Manager Justin Clausen. “Before we start the final round of pick-up, residents should place any remaining tree debris by the curb by Tuesday, Sept 1. If we haven’t reached you by Sept. 1, then place any additional storm debris curbside immediately after crews complete the first round in your neighborhood. We are optimistic that the second round will go quickly, and we could return soon.”

In general, crews focusing on curbside storm tree debris removal will work from south to north across the city in a similar fashion to the first round of pick-up. After the second round is complete, the curbside pickup program will be over.

For curbside pickup:

  • Property owners must place tree debris parallel to the curb
  • Debris must not be placed next to fire hydrants, electric transformers, etc.
  • Debris should be cut in lengths of no more than 8 feet long
  • Remove vehicles from around the curb when crews are in the area
