Best Of Comes to Ames Patch: First Up Workouts

By now, many Ames Patch readers have probably noticed the places directory.

It's where one can find information about local schools, churches and businesses.

Now Ames Patch is introducing the "Best Of" contest, which will focus on different categories each week and feature places in the directory. The first contest will feature the best fitness centers/workouts in Ames. The contest will begin on Monday, Feb. 27 at 5 a.m. and conclude two weeks later.

Down the road, readers may be asked to choose and discuss their favorite pizza places, coffee shops or bartenders. Each contest will include a poll posted at the bottom of the story and readers will also be encouraged to write a review of their favorite businesses.
