Pursuing Mom of the Year

Let me introduce myself.  I work.  I'm a mom.  I write.  I endlessly pursue some sort of secret race for a coveted award that doesn't exist - the award for Mom of the Year.  

Writing is my vice and often helps me find humor in my every day life.  Let's face it, every day life can some days be pretty mundane.  What I find funniest about me is just what happens every day, especially with my two daughters of the year.  

I'm always asked, "Did you write that down when she said that?" 

Being the mom of the year that I am, no I did not. 

I started blogging about nine months ago to share my passion for writing, my kids, and good humor.  Sit back, relax, grab a glass of wine and join me on my endless pursuit for mom of the year.  It's sure to be one heck of a ride!
