Rock 'N' Roll Politics Comes To Patch!

This is the blog you don't want to invite to dinner.

After all, a good dinner guest doesn't discuss religion or politics at the table.

But religion, politics, and a dash of pop culture is just what my wife and I LIKE to discuss.

I'm Jeff Angelo:  conservative Republican and evangelical Christian. My wife is Tara van Brederode, progressive and Unitarian. I served as a State Senator for 12 years as well as a political consultant to Republicans throughout the Midwest. Tara received her political schooling at Wellstone Action! 

We're both active in politics and our community. We've shared our (completely different) political analysis at God, Politics, and Rock 'N' Roll since 2007 and are glad to cross-post here at Ames Patch, as well as offer exclusive content. We also slip in a few theological thoughts from time-to-time, and even a bit of pop-culture commentary.

But we rarely use our platform to argue with each other or those offering comments. You can get enough of that elsewhere. This is a conversation among friends.
