In our media-saturated world, we have folks who are famous simply for the sake of being famous. Kim Kardashian was introduced to the world through a sex tape. A teen-aged girl in California married a 51-year-old actor and now posts sexy photos of herself online.
And then there is Kate Gosselin. She readily admits that her only source of income is remaining in the public spotlight, beginning with the televising the gruesome details of her marital breakdown.
Her next step...a proposed show in which she looks for a new step dad for her eight children.
This is sad in two ways...not only is Kate willing to have her love life documented, but you can bet that there are a bunch of guys willing to woo in hopes of realizing THEIR dream of becoming famous for the sake of being famous.
