Most City of Ames departments and divisions will be closed Monday, Sept. 6, in recognition of Labor Day. Offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 7. Labor Day holiday closures include:

CyRide buses will not operate on Monday, Sept. 6. For more information on bus schedules, visit www.cyride.com
Furman Aquatic Center, 1365 13th St., will be open on Monday, Sept. 6, for adult lap swim, adult water walking, and tot time from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and open swim from 1 to 8 p.m. If the weather forecast is uncertain, call Ames Parks and Recreation hotline at 515.239.5434 for pool and programming cancellations. Labor Day is the last day of the 2021 season at Furman.

Ames/ISU Ice Arena, 1507 Gateway Hills Park Drive, will be open on Monday, Sept. 6, for Public Skate from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Homewood Golf Course, 401 E. 20th St., will be open on Monday, Sept. 6. Tee times are available from 7:20 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To reserve a tee time, visit www.amesparkrec.org or call 515.239.5363.
