City Of Ames: Jensen Avenue, Luther Drive Closed To Traffic Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 13

Jensen Avenue from north of 25th Street to Luther Drive, and Luther Drive from Kellogg Avenue to west of Jensen Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning Wednesday, Oct. 13. The closure is necessary for pavement improvements.

The City of Ames has contracted with Manatts Inc. to complete pavement removal, followed by ground preparation for paving operations, and then installation of a new asphalt road and selected concrete driveways. Completion of this project is expected to take 10 to 14 days.

All are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time as delays may occur. For safety reasons, please keep children and pets away from the construction zone.
