City Of Ames: Luther Drive Closed To Traffic South Of 28th Street Beginning Oct. 27

Luther Drive from 606 Luther Drive to 28th Street will be closed to traffic beginning Wednesday, Oct. 27. The closure is necessary for pavement improvements.

The City of Ames has contracted with Manatts Inc. to complete pavement removal, followed by ground preparation for paving operations, and then installation of a new asphalt road and selected concrete driveways. Completion of this project is expected to take six to eight days.

All are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time as delays may occur. For safety reasons, please keep children and pets away from the construction zone. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling through the construction area.
