City Of Ames: McKinley Drive Closed To Through Traffic Beginning Tuesday

McKinley Drive from McKinley Court/Circle to Northwestern Avenue will be closed to through traffic beginning Tuesday, Oct. 19, to allow reconstruction of the road. Access will be available to residents only.

The City of Ames has contracted with Manatts Inc. to complete this project, which will include removal and replacement of selected curb and gutter and driveways. This project is expected to take eight to 10 days to complete.

All are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time as delays may occur. For safety reasons, please keep children and pets away from the construction zone.
