City of Ames Announces Reception for Mahayni
Ames City Councilman of eight years will be honored in a Dec. 20 reception.

The public is invited to attend a thank you reception for outgoing Ames City Councilman Riad Mahayni. The event will be held at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, in the lobby in front of the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 515 Clark Ave.
Mahayni, who represents the Fourth Ward, has been a member of the Ames City Council since 2003 and did not seek re-election. Fourth Ward will be represented by Victoria Szopinski with the beginning of the new year.
