Community Cinema for MLK Day

View the short documentary, "Food Stamped" which explores America's food system and if people can eat a healthy, well-balanced diet on a food stamp budget. Watch the trailer here: http://www.foodstamped.com/

Following the film, discuss the hidden hunger in Story County and how we can work toward Dr. King’s vision of a community that does not allow hunger, poverty, & homelessness to exist.

January 16 from 1-3 pm in the auditorium of the Collegiate United Methodist & Wesley Foundation Annex (130 South Sheldon, Ames)

A food drive will be conducted throughout MLK Day - canned food and other nonperishable food items can be dropped off at the event.  Items will be donated to the MICA food pantry.
