Halloween Hike: Myth-Understandings

Hour-long hikes depart every 10 minutes from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Registrations are required by calling 515-232-2516.

Come to Story County Conservation’s annual Halloween Hike to discover the truth about some of Iowa’s most common natural “myth-understandings.” Are daddy long legs really venomous? Are bats actually blind? Do opossums always sleep upside down? Some stories are really too good to be true, so it’s time to set the record straight. It will be an enlightening evening...and that is a fact.
