The MLK Birthday Celebration will take place from 6-7:30pm at the Ames Middle School.
Cake will be served from 6-6:20pm, followed by a program from 6:30-7:30pm featuring a variety of community groups presenting songs, skits, and speeches celebrating Dr. King’s life.
A food drive will be conducted throughout MLK Day - canned food and other nonperishable food items can be dropped off at the Celebration event in the evening. Donations will go to the MICA food pantry.

In the event of weather so severe that CyRide buses cannot operate, the celebration will be moved to Monday, January 23rd.
