The Ames Main Street Cultural District (MSCD) is partnering with the Iowa Economic Development Authority’s (IEDA) Main Street Iowa Program to help assess downtown Ames and further economic development. A team of national consultants will visit next week to conduct their assessment and meet with interested parties in Ames with the end goal of helping Ames further itself as a retail destination. The public meetings includes a presentation and Q&A.
