Super Bowl Sunday is the second highest day of food consumption in the United States right after Thanksgiving, according to the USDA.
Roughly 20 percent of people are expected to attend a party and thousands will consume an estimated 1.25 billion chicken wings, the agency said.

Tracy Drury, manager of , 1404 S. Duff., usually expects a slow Super Bowl Sunday. So this year they've turned the day into Community Giveback Night. Anyone who comes in to dine or carries out can drop their check in a box in the lobby. If they do, 10 percent of the cost of their bill will be donated to the local elementary school of their choice.
