2) Back to School night

Ames High School hosts a Back to School Open House at 6:30 p.m.

3) Story Time in the Garden

Reiman Gardens will host a Kids Storytime at 10 a.m. The event includes stories, arts and crafts.

4) Roadwork

Construction on an additional lane of South 16^th Street begins today. Traffic will be open in both directions but expect some delays.

5) The Weather

The National Weather Service said Ames can expect a 20 percent chance of rain and a high near 90 degrees.
