Global humanitarian Dr. Paul Farmer will speak 7 p.m. in the Cy Stephens Auditorium. Farmer will talk about Haiti after the earthquake.

4) Ask the Candidate

The Ames League of Women Voters will host an Ames Community School Board Candidate debate 7 p.m. in the Ames City Council Chambers. Questions will be posed by audience members and by people watching the debate on the city's access channel 12.

5) Weather

National Weather Service said it will be sunny with a high of 82.
