St. Thomas Aquinas Church will host its basement sale through Saturday. The sale runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday.

4) Water Award

The City of Ames Water Pollution Control facility was honored for having some the cleanest dirty water around, well in a way. Read more about it on the City's site.

5) The Weather

The National Weather Service said it should be sunny with a high of 81.
