Former Cyclone Quarterback Signs With New Orleans Saints

Seneca Wallace was signed to a one-year contract with the team after spending a year off the professional roster.

The New Orleans Saints announced Monday that they signed veteran free agent quarterback Seneca Wallace to a one-year contract, KCRG in Cedar Rapids reports.

Wallace, who was out of football last year, played for the Cleveland Browns for two years, KCRG reported.

Wallace, 32, was cut during training last year, the article said. He will compete against Luke McCown for the backup job.
