HR Green Chosen to Implement Nevada, Iowa Capital Improvement Plan

HR Green has been chosen by the City of Nevada, Iowa to complete the planning, design, and bidding of four projects in its 2017 Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). The projects include street reconstruction, which also includes water main, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer reconstruction improvements; an asphalt resurfacing over cracked and seated PCC pavement project; a lift station study and design project; and the installation of storm collector lines at various locations in the City.

HR Green professionals will provide on-going project management, survey, design, and bidding services; and to ensure a successful project, HR Green will set up lines of communication and provide a quality control plan. In addition to gathering and reviewing the existing street and utility plans in the area, field surveys will be conducted to obtain topographic data, ground elevations, and cross sections required for the development of the project.

HR Green will organize and hold informational meetings with the affected property owners to inform them of the project and to gain local knowledge of the project areas. The meetings will include a brief presentation and a question and answer period.
