HR Green welcomes Ames native Rebekkah Nelson to Houston

HR Green is pleased to announce Ames, IA native Rebekkah Nelson, PE, has joined the firm's Houston Texas office as a Project Engineer.

HR Green is pleased to announce Rebekkah Nelson, PE, has joined the firm’s Houston Texas office as a Project Engineer. Nelson brings nearly 10 years of experience in wastewater treatment to HR Green’s water business line where she will work on a variety of water related projects.

Nelson served as Project manager for wastewater treatment plant improvement projects with estimated construction costs of more than $4 million. She also has an extensive background in storm water pollution prevention plans and spill prevention, containment, and countermeasure plans. She developed reports and closure strategies for petroleum storage tank sites and voluntary cleanup program sites.

Nelson graduated from Iowa State University with a BS in Civil Engineering. In addition she is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
