Local blogger Jeff Angelo, of Ames, said former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty was the debate's winner. He attended the debate in CY Stephens Auditorium Thursday and gave a short synopsis on each presidential candidate's performance.
But Hannah Hess wrote on IowaPolitics.com that undecided Republicans declared former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney the winner.
