A public input meeting will be held on the proposal at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday near the Veenker clubhouse.

wants to move a golf maintenance shed out of a floodplain at the and onto higher ground on the southern edge of Moore Memorial Park.

If approved, the university would build a 5,000-square-foot structure on park grounds and would lease the land free for 50 years. The university would then take down the existing facility and restore the ground it's built on to its original state.

The new building would be built south of the park's bike trail near some trees.
