Iowa State Football Recruit Ranked on Latest Rivals List
Urbandale's Allen Lazard is also the top-ranked receiver in the country.

Allen Lazard, an Urbandale High School football player and Iowa State recruit, has been named to Rivals.com’s list of the top 100 high school football players in the Class of 2014.
Lazard, a receiver for the J-Hawks, is no. 25 on the list.
The 6-foot-5, 204-pounder is also the top-ranked receiver in the country, according to the Des Moines Register.

The latest Rivals ranking took Lazard down a spot. In February, he was no. 24 on the list.
During the past season Lazard was named to the Elite All State Football Team by the Des Moines Register, according to the Urbandale J-Hawks website. This was the second consecutive year Lazard was honored by the newspaper in this manner.

Lazard drew recruiting interest from such powers as Ohio State, Nebraska, Oregon and Alabama throughout a season during which he caught 40 passes for 928 yards and 11 touchdowns.
But he told the Register he's firm on his plans to play for Coach Paul Rhoads and the Cyclones.
