Lifetree Cafe: "True Beauty: Is it Really Only Skin Deep?"

People's perceptions of beauty will be considered at Lifetree Café at 611 Clark Ave, Thursday @ 7-8 PM

The program—titled “True Beauty: Is it Really Only Skin Deep?”—features a filmed interview with MeLisa Mounsey, a woman who survived an incident that burned over 95 percent of her body.

During the interview, Mounsey recalls the painful event.

“I can still see it in my mind’s eye today,” Mounsey says. “Gasoline dripped off my little finger, the next moment there was a loud whoosh, and I was engulfed in flames.”
