March Madness: What Time Does Iowa State Play Ohio State in NCAA Tournament?

No. 10 seed Iowa State Cyclones face No. 2 seed Ohio State in the NCAA men's basketball tournament today. The Cyclones demolished Notre Dame 76-58 Friday night in Dayton, Ohio.

It wasn't exactly a cake walk, but Iowa State's win 76-58 over Notre Dame Friday night in the second round of the NCAA men's basketball tournament thrilled the Cyclone Nation.

Iowa State (23-11) was unhappy with comments from Notre Dame prior to its first NCAA tournament game and used them as motivation in the victory to advance to the third round of the tournament, the Iowa State Daily reports.

No. 10 seed Iowa State takes on No. 2 seed Ohio State at 11:15 a.m. Central Time today at the University of Dayton Arena in Dayton, Ohio.
The game will be broadcast on CBS, locally on KCCI TV, Channel 8.
Ohio State is 5-0 all-time against Iowa State, the Daily reports. The last time the two teams met was in 2006 in Des Moines when the Cyclones lost 75-56.
The Cyclones, led by third-year coach Fred Hoiberg, have earned back-to-back NCAA tournament bids for the first time in 12 years, the TV station says. Iowa State beat Connecticut in last year's NCAA before falling to eventual national champion Kentucky

  • West Towne Pub, 4518 Mortensen Road
