Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is ending his bid for he White House, a day after a disappointing third-place finish at the Ames Straw Poll.

Lynn Campbell of IowaPolitics.com reported Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty is ending his bid for the White House, a day after a disappointing third-place finish at the Ames Straw Poll.
The Associated Press is reporting that Pawlenty told supporters on a conference call this morning that he would announce on ABC's "This Week" that he was ending his campaign, which he has already done according to Fox News.

He received 2,293 votes, or 13.6 percent of the 16,892 votes cast.
