People may also register to vote on Election Day, Sept. 13 by showing up in their polling places with an ID and proof of residency. People need a picture ID, such as a valid driver's license, and proof of address. If their address is on the ID that's fine otherwise people should bring a utility bill or a bank statement with their current address.
