Santorum and Pawlenty make stops in Ames Monday

Rick Santorum will host a town hall meeting at Cafe Diem. Tim Pawlenty meets with Viking Magazine employees.

Two presidential candidates will stop in Ames today before returning for the Republican Presidential Straw Poll Saturday.

Rick Santorum will stop in in Ames 8 a.m. this morning for a town hall meeting. Two hours later former Gov. Tim Pawlenty expects to meet with Viking Magazine employees at 10 a.m.

Santorum's visit is open to the public. The former U.S senator of Pensylvania plans on campaigning at the coffee shop for about an hour before making his way to Webster City.

Pawlenty will meet with employees from the Minnesota based magazine company and will return to Ames for a more public event 7 p.m. Wednesday at Zeke's, 3329 Lincoln Way.
