1) Fab Four

The Fab Four's ultimate tribute to the Beatles begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday at . A press release for the show said attendees will hear record perfect live performances of “The Beatles” best known hits. Regular tickets are $35 and $39 and were still available Thursday morning.

2) Need to Breathe

Need to Breathe, an American rock band that recently toured with Taylor Swift, makes a stop at at 9 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets are $20 for Iowa State University students and $25 for everyone else. Tickets were available Thursday morning and were about $33 each with all fees included.

 

3) Eagle Release

American Bald eagles will take to the skies at McFarland Park 10 a.m. Saturday. Saving Our Avian Resources plans to release two rehabbed eagles and share both eagles' stories. College of Veterinary Medicine Wildlife Care Clinic helped care for one of the eagles. Learn more at the event.

 

4) Eco Fair

The is hosting Eco Fair in the community gym at 515 Clark Ave, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is focused on environmental issues. There people can learn about water conservation, reducing electric usage, low impact landscaping and reducing the carbon footprint. The event is free.

 

5) Occupy Agrisol

Occupy Ames and Occupy ISU plan hold a “teach-in” on corporate interests in public universities in a discussion and forum called “After Agrisol” Defining a University's Ethics and Interests in a Corporate World.” from 2 to 4 p.m. at Ames City Hall Council Chambers. The event is free. Panelists include Francis Thicke, Adam Mason, Carolyn Raffensperger, David Osterberg, and George Naylor.

 

People attending the Iowa Governor's Cup Taekwondo  at the Lied Recreation Center will be in town this weekend. Participants and Ames residents can find more things to do on Ames.Patch.Com's calendar
