Storm Street Construction Progresses in Ames

People who regularly park on Storm Street between Lynn and Ash Avenues better find a new space by Monday.

Parking will not be allowed on those few blocks until December due to the continuing street construction project. All cars need to be moved by 10 a.m. Monday, according to a release from the City of Ames.

Roughly eight blocks of Storm Street, between Hayward and Ash avenues, were affected by the project.

A second phase of the project, which is from Welch to Lynn avenues will open to the public at 8 a.m. Monday.
