Under Construction: Hayes Avenue Closed Tuesday

Hayes Avenue closed Tuesday morning so that construction crews could lay a final suface layer of asphalt. The Avenue is closed from 20th to 24th streets. Hayes is scheduled to reopen to local traffic Wednesday, Aug. 3, allowing residents back into their driveways. The road should be open to the public by Friday, said Brad Schweibert, of Manatts Construction.
