Who It’s For:

The Hunger Games books are written for teens, but have found a ready audience in adults as well. Although the story is violent and disturbing, it is also thought provoking and at times heartwarming. Ames Public Library currently has 28 copies of this the fist book "The Hunger Games," with 90 people waiting to read it. We have not seen a teen book this popular since Harry Potter. Boys and girls, men and women, everyone is reading The Hunger Games.
