ACTORS Studio

opens Death Takes a Holiday 7:30 p.m. Friday. The group will perform the 1934 drama in which death takes human form and falls in love ( “Meet Joe Black” starring Brad Pitt was one interpretation) through April 14 except for Easter Sunday April 8. Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays: March 30, March 31, April 6, April 7, April 13, April 14. Matinees are planned for 2 p.m. April 1 and April 15. Buy tickets at .

Ames Middle School

's 2012 Drama club performs “Alice in Wonderland” 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $5 for families, $2 for adults and $1 for students and seniors.

 

Dance Social

hosts free ballroom dancing minus the stars from 7:30 to 9:45 p.m. on ISU Campus in the Forker Building on Fridays. There is no dress code, but wear indoor shoes or socks for the dance floor.

 

SUB Music

The Student Union Activities Board has planned an act Friday and Saturday. Friday: Katchafire w/ Common Kings and K'Nova play at 9 p.m. Doors open at 8:30 p.m. Public tickets are $10.

Saturday: Oberhofer w/ Pond performs at 9 p.m. Public tickets are $10 in advance and $12 on the day of the show.

 

Easter Bunny at Reiman Gardens

Children, families and all can visit with the Easter Bunny a week early at Spring Fling and Bunny Breakfast Saturday at . Breakfast is at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. and includes crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids. The Spring Fling starts at 1 p.m. and includes an Easter egg hunt for children up to 10 years old. The event is free for children, cohorts and students. Adults can attend for the price of admission.
