Young Ames Singers Needed

Ames Choral Society seeks youth singers for upcoming performance.

Ames Choral Society is searching for young singers ages 10 through 17 to form a treble choir for an April 29 performance.

Like last fall's concert, Ames Choral Society intends to involve other community musicians in its performance of Carl Nielsen's "Hymnus Amoris" and Randall Thompson's "Frostiana".

The treble choir will perform with an orchestra and an adult choir. Boys must have unchanged voices. The treble choir will sing in four places of “Hymnus Amoris” and represent angels. People interested can expect to spend four to six hours rehearsing as a group.
