62% See Free Market As Better Than More Regulation In Reducing Health Care Costs

Remember when Nancy Pelosi told us they needed to pass the Obamacare bill so we could know what was in it?  What the rush was we never discovered, but it was passed before we knew what it was all about.  Well, the more we now learn about it, the more we find it is not good.  Last week the White House announced they were going to delay implementation of a major portion of the law until after the next election.  Whether they can legally do that or not apparently never even crossed their minds.

Since that announcement there have been two other announcements made about problems implementing Obamacare.  First comes word that they won't be charging an extra fee required of smokers.  Why?  Because of a "computer glitch".  And it will reportedly take a year to fix that.  Seriously?  Does anyone honestly believe that?

Then comes word that the White House will not require insurance companies to verify consumer's income and health insurance status.  This is a requirement for insurance companies to force you to tell them your private income data, something they have no business needing to know, and they aren't going to force that to be implemented.  Well, it's really being delayed.  Delayed until when?  Until after the next election.  Odd how they keep saying that some of the more onerous things about Obamacare until after the next election.

Obamacare has been a disaster, in more ways than just these two.  It's been forcing employers to cut back on full time employees and cut back on hours for their regular employees so they can avoid paying extra taxes and costs.  It's the reason why the 2nd biggest employer in the nation is now a temp agency.

Knowing these things, is it any wonder that almost 2/3rds of Americans see the free market as better for reducing health care costs than more government?
